Nose Flesh Surgery

Deviation, or septal deviation in its full expression, is the curvature of the nasal septum, which extends from the tip of the nose to the nasal cavity and separates the inside of the nose into two cavities. The septum is a plate-shaped structure of bone and cartilage extending from the tip of the nose to the nasal cavity. Deviated septum may develop due to congenital or subsequent traumatic causes. The septum loses its normal straightness, curves into an ‘S’ or ‘C’ shape, and bends to one side or sometimes to both sides. Although the curvatures in the front of the septum are mild, they can cause severe nasal obstruction. Curvatures in the posterior region of the septum may not cause complaints although they are excessive. We decide on the operation by considering the patient's complaints, taking into account the examination findings and the health problems it may cause.

Deviation Surgery

Deviation and turbinate surgery is an integral part of aesthetic nose surgery. It can be performed under local or general anaesthesia. A small incision is made in the nose, cartilage and bone are exposed and corrected appropriately. The operation is a short procedure. Unless it is very necessary, we discharge the patient after 5-6 hours without stitches and tampons. For the completion of cartilage development, we wait until the age of 16-17 for the earliest age of surgery.

Nasal Fles (concha)

Concha are spongy structures located on the side wall of the nose. By increasing and decreasing their volume, they regulate the amount of air passing through the nose, temperature and humidity level. Concha hypertrophy or nasal flesh expression; It refers to the permanent overgrowth of the concha. Surgery can be performed under local or general anaesthesia. There are many techniques defined in surgery. It is intervened with laser or radiofrequency because it is bloodless and the results are satisfactory. Concha surgery is a procedure that takes 2-3 minutes, is painless and does not require the use of tampons.
